Gymbucks are $25 coupons that the Gymboree franchise offers for every $50 spent, during a certain period of time. This year children’s clothing shoppers can earn them on purchases from April 27, 2009 to July 12, 2009.
Gymbucks can then be used as cash and redeemed during the redemption period which usually coincides with a big sale to maximize their spending power. This year the redemption period is July 16, 2009 to July 26, 2009. Gymbucks can also be earned through Gymboree’s Play and Music Class Sessions which offer toddler music classes as well as art, school and sports classes for infants and newborns.
Tips for Earning Gymbucks
- Look online for Gymbucks and Gymboree groups that buy and sell. Ebay is one site where shoppers can buy and sell their Gymbucks.
- Shop with a friend or family member. It may be more beneficial to put purchases together to maximize the Gymbucks received. Also make sure purchases are at least $50 before taxes and any shipping fees. Different visits to the store cannot be added or combined later to receive Gymbucks.
- Keep track of all receipts or web invoices from Gymboree purchases to redeem Gymbucks in store.
- Make sure to remember the dates for earning Gymbucks and redeeming them. Check the Gymboree website or sign up for email notifications. If the redemption period is missed, they cannot be used later or at another time.
- The value of the coupons will decrease if a purchase is returned. If a return is needed that puts the balance below $50 for instance, the remaining purchases will not qualify for the $25 in Gymbucks. It may be wiser to hold the return or make an exchange that still keeps the balance over $50.
Tips for Redeeming Gymbucks
- Gymbucks cannot be used with most other Gymboree promotions except the Gymboree Visa discount which saves an additional 5%.
- Gymbucks can be redeemed online but make sure to shop early. Because of the redemption period and the sales that coincide, the baby apparel and children's clothing go super fast. At checkout, a Gymbucks number and 4 digit pin number from the coupon or packing slip is needed to redeem online.
- Gymbucks earned in Canada cannot be redeemed online or in United States stores. Gymbucks also cannot be redeemed in Gymboree outlet stores.
